The Curious Case of the Chicken Bones

Trash Tales of the Not so "Rich and Famous"

If you think commercial cleaning is all about mops, brooms, and disinfectants, think again! Sometimes, it's a job of mystery and intrigue—like a detective show, but with less trench coats and more nitrile gloves.

Case in point: The baffling discovery of fried chicken bones in the restroom. Not once. Not twice. Well, actually, yes—twice.

Let’s set the scene: a bustling public building, a spotless restroom (thanks to your trusty cleaning crew), and lurking in the shadows (or more so, on top) of the trash can… fried chicken bones. Cue dramatic music.

The obvious question here is: why? Why would anyone bring fried chicken into a restroom, let alone enjoy a finger-lickin’ feast in a stall? Is this the new frontier in multitasking? A private dining experience? Or simply an extreme case of “I can’t wait until lunch”?

Strange Trash Sightings

This poultry predicament isn’t our only run-in with the unexpected. Over the years, we’ve stumbled upon items that make us scratch our heads in bewilderment, such as:

  • A single shoe  - Just one—are people walking around lopsided?

  • A box of unopened donuts  - A moment of silence for the wasted pastries.

  • An inflatable flamingo - Perhaps someone was planning a pool party in the break room?

It’s a reminder that trash truly tells stories—though often ones we’d rather not dive too deeply into.

Laughs and Lessons

Beyond the chuckles, these finds also teach us something important about our role as commercial cleaners. It’s not just about tidying up; it’s about being adaptable, non-judgmental, and always ready for the unexpected. Whether it’s fried chicken bones or mystery shoes, we tackle every mess with professionalism (and maybe a raised eyebrow or two).

A Gentle Reminder

To our dear readers, let’s take this opportunity for a friendly PSA: bathrooms are for many things, but dining al fresco isn’t one of them. Let’s keep the chicken in the break room where it belongs, shall we?
